Poor People's Army, Peoplesfest

The Poor People’s Army is hosting a mini “Peoplesfest” during West Philly Porchfest!
They are doing this block party style and we will dance in the street.
The Naked Stark will perform once during this event. There will be great music and opportunities to learn about the Poor People’s Army and their incredible work whenever you drop by! There will also be free food and drink, and they welcome donations for the Poor People’s Army.
Poor People’s Army is working “to build a nonviolent Poor People’s Army to keep people alive and to build a cooperative economy and society.” They come out of the Kensington Welfare Rights Movement and Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign.
The Naked Stark performed at PPA event last summer and had the opportunity to learn about the radical housing work they do in Philly. Excited they invited us to participate again!
