Speaker:

Welcome everyone, thank you for joining us.

Before we get started I would like to take a moment to pay respect and remembrance to the Lenni- Lenape people of which we are occupying space on their stolen lands. While acknowledging the harm done is by no means an act of justice, it is one step toward beginning conversations of repair. A percentage of all funds earned by the Naked Stark goes to the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Nation, including any donation you contribute today. Please take a moment to hold in your heart all of the beings that once inhabited, currently inhabit, and will inhabit this land and our sacred planet as a whole.

(program note: the following verbal instructions can also be followed visually.)

And I’d like to invite you to place your hands on your heart.  And let’s take a few collective breaths.

Generate some warm energy.  Rub your hands over your heart.

Open your hands and heart and share that warmth with your neighbors.
